Brian Steuter is now in his eighth year as the head coach for te Varsity girls. Before coaching in the girls program he was the Assistant Coach for the Varsity Boys’ Program for three years. He also spent three summers coaching a boys team for TRSA. Before Brian started coaching he played for TRSA from 82-93 and played for Elk River High School for three years. After high School, Brian played for the University for St. Thomas. |

Coach: Nathan Cairns
Bio:

Nathan Cairns is in his 11th year as an Elk River coach. A 1991 Elk River High School graduate. Nathan received his Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting with a history and coaching minor from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls in 1995. He also earned a Regional Diploma in soccer coaching from the NSCA. In 2005, Nathan was named Assistant Coach of the year for Girls Class AA, Section 8, from the Minnesota State High School Soccer Coaches Association. When he not on the soccer field, Nathan enjoys spending with his wife and two children and restoring their early 1900’s farmhouse. |

Coach: Dave Hanson

Dave Hanson is in his eighth as our ‘B’ Squad coach. He recently retired from teaching in the Elk River school district, having taught at Elk River High School, Ivan Sand Community School and Rogers High School. He also served as the JV girls basketball coach and before that, coached both soccer and basketball in the Junior High Schools. |

Coach: Julie Steuter

Julie Steuter is the Elk River freshman girls coach. She has lived in Elk River for 31 years with her husband Stan, and raised three children including Brian, our varsity coach. All three children played soccer at Elk River and went on to play in college. Julie has been the freshman coach for the past 14 years. Before that she coached TRSA House and Travel league teams. When not coaching you can find Julie in the St. Andrew’s kitchen, where she is the head cook. |
